If There’s a World Series and Nobody Watches, Did It Actually Happen? News and Notes

In the time since the last wonderful SWH post, many things have happened.

-Joe Girardi and his binder managed the Yankees out of the playoffs

-AJ Burnett got a playoff start, and other than losing it, he pitched decent. Luckily the Yanks are only paying him to be a decent pitcher for the next few years with his 50+ million dollar contract

-The Yankees forgot how to hit

-David Robertson became my least favorite player

-Dave Eiland has been let go as Yankees pitching coach. Lets hope pitching guru Mike Harkey wants the job

-The Giants/ Rangers World series rating are down 1/3 from last year. Most likely due to the Cable vision crisis and the fact that nobody outside of San Francisco and Dallas cares about those teams

-Future Yankee Cliff Lee’s wife got stuff thrown at her. Nice move assholes. Way to have respect for women, especially women whose husbands we desperately need to win another chip’.
